Maybe you haven’t heard of Longmont, just north of Denver and with superb views of Longs Peak. But we’re willing to bet you know our beer.

Dale’s Pale Ale, the original craft beer in a can? Brewed right here in town by Oskar Blues. The recent upsurge in Nitro Ales? A direct result of Left Hand Brewing, on the banks of the St. Vrain.

We’ve got the finest craft breweries in the state and world-class food to match.

Beyond the acclaimed beer, Longmont’s recent designation as a Colorado Certified Creative District illustrates our community’s commitment to the arts. Our live theatre, art galleries, dance and music venues create a hub of activity that inspires locals and visitors alike. We take pride in our visual and performing arts, as well as, our inspiring architecture, historic charm, and scenic views of the Rocky Mountains. In addition to a vibrant arts scene, Longmont has elevated the culinary arts.

While you’re in town don’t forget to check out our world-class Museum & Cultural Center, Art in Public Places, and extensive biking and walking trails.

300 Suns Brewing

One of Longmont’s newest breweries, 300 Suns is named for the number of days of sunshine we enjoy here in the heart of Colorado. With a great lineup of beers and regular live music, as well as visits from several of Longmont’s famous food trucks, 300 Suns is quickly becoming a bright spot on the scene – and recently won the Longmont Chamber of Commerce award for Rookie Business of the Year!

Longs Peak Pub & Taphouse

Brand-new to Longmont, but a long-time Boulder favorite, Mountain Sun beers have been considered some of the County’s finest for years. Now available in a gorgeous new pub with a convivial atmosphere and an eye-watering assortment of brews, they are persuading craft beer connoisseurs from miles around to beat a path to Longs Peak.

Großen Bart Brewery

Großen Bart is bringing oddball humor to genuine brewing excellence here in Longmont, with an assortment of beers that draw inspiration from around the world – all married to a facial hair style that matches the brew!

Shoes & Brews

Although not strictly a brewery, Shoes & Brews has one of the most eclectic and carefully-chosen selections of beer you will find anywhere, period. Cheese Importers

Cheese Importers

103 Main St
Cheese Importers is home to a quite simply staggering array of the world’s finest cheeses.

Boasting an inventory of over 350 world cheeses, Colorado’s largest walk-in refrigerated cheese and meat market, and the most eclectic collection of European treasures this side of the Atlantic, Cheese Importers offers a unique dining experience, wine bar, specialty foods to take home to your kitchen, home décor, and more.

Step inside and you’ll be transported to Paris. It’s the ambiance, the food, the drink, and most of all the charm of the White family and its employees. In 1976, the Whites opened a little cheese shop downtown. Now it’s a Longmont institution.

When it comes to quality, this Cheese stands alone – foodies, Francophiles, and out-of-town holiday guests will agree.

Robin Chocolates

Robin Chocolates

600 South Airport Rd.
Robin Chocolates, Longmont’s most acclaimed chocolate shop, brings art and chocolate together. Their creations are almost too lovely to eat. Almost! Proprietor Robin Autorino studied classic French cooking techniques and worked in several pastry kitchens before experimenting with chocolate molds. For Valentine’s Day 2008, Robin provided chocolates for a local florist, and the rest is history.

Since then, she’s carved out great success in Longmont, winning prestigious awards along the way. Most notably, she was named one of the Top Ten Chocolatiers of North America by Dessert Professional magazine in 2014. And it’s no wonder, with flavors like Rosemary Caramel, Port Wine Reduction and Coconut Rum.

Georgia Boys BBQ

Georgia Boys BBQ

237 Collyer St.
Georgia Boys BBQ has rapidly become one of the most-admired eateries in the state, never mind the town.

Recently awarded the accolade “Tastiest Food in Longmont”, ‘The Shack’ as it’s known locally, is home to some of the most sumptuous ribs and fixin’s you’ll ever try.

One problem: the limited space means limited availability. Locals in the know tend to gather for early lunches to avoid disappointment later in the day!

Don’t expect silver service. Don’t necessarily expect silverware. But you can expect the best darn BBQ this side of the Mississippi. If you don’t believe us, get out here and try it!

600 Longs Peak Avenue
Modena Wine Cafe was recently voted the Best New Business in Eastern Boulder County – and you’ll see why when you walk in the door.

If you want to sample more than beer when you Visit Longmont, you’ll find the most extensive selection of wines-by-the-glass in Colorado at Modena. Over 150 wines are available to try in 2 oz samples or full glasses.

Where Longs Peak Pub, next door, is all bustle and banter, Modena is a classy refuge from the world outside. Comfortable sofas, a cozy fireplace and a friendly welcome await you – along with a selection of terrific meals ranging from gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to fresh seafood and specialty pork wings.

We hate to say that beer isn’t everything… but Modena sometimes makes us wonder!
